The suspect was arrested in Amskroud, near Agadir, National Police (DGSN) said in a statement, adding that the man was on a truck with fake license plates and in possession of 365 kg of cannabis resin.

The man was placed on custody pending the end of investigations led by the competent prosecutor's office, the source pointed out.

This operation is part of efforts made by security services to fight against drug trafficking networks.
