In a statement, the DGSN said that since the declaration of the state of health emergency by the public authorities, a total of 65,390 people have been arrested in all the Kingdom's cities, 34,936 of whom were brought before the competent public prosecutor's offices following the police custody procedure.
These arrests were carried out in Casablanca (8.791), Rabat (8,648), Kenitra (6,783), Oujda (5,599), Marrakech (6,131), Agadir (4,354), Salé (3,676), Meknes (3,495), Beni Mellal (2,717), Fez (2,039), Tetouan (3,129), El Jadida (1,881), Tangier (1,548), Settat (1,823), Ouarzazate (1,245), Laayoune (1,214), Errachidia (787), Safi (576), Taza (704) and Al Hoceima (250).
Police services will continue to reinforce control operations in all the Moroccan cities and coordinate their interventions with the various public authorities with a view to ensuring the strict implementation of the health emergency state, the source pointed out
