The province of Ouarzazate is the worst-hit with 170 cases, ahead of Midelt (46), Errachidia (5), Zagora (5) and Tinghir (1).

Twenty-four covid-19 patients have recovered in the region, including 12 in Midelt, 5 in Ouarzazate, 5 in Errachidia, 1 in Zagora and 1 in Tinghir.

According to the same source, two people died from coronavirus complications in the region, while 1,071 suspected cases were excluded following negative tests.

A total of 168 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Wednesday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,377, the ministry of Health said.
