According to the same source, 16 covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease and 8 people died of coronavirus complications. 

The two new cases were recorded in the prefecture of Oujda-Angad, which brings the total number of cases in the prefecture to 56. The province of Nador comes second with 39 cases, ahead of Berkane (37), Taourirt (9), Guercif (8), Driouch (7) and Figuig (1).

No case of the virus has been reported so far in the province of Jerada.

A total of 140 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Tuesday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 3,186, the ministry of Health said.
