The 16,000 sq. m. facility is expected to be fully operational early next week with the installation of medical devices and equipment, according to a reliable source.
The construction work, entrusted to the two local development companies Casa Iskane et Équipements and Casa Events et Animation, was launched on Saturday 4 April and will be completed in two weeks.
The hospital consists of four blocks with more than 700 beds and is equipped with all the necessary equipment, including the ventilation system, cameras and sanitary facilities (showers and toilets).
A second part, installed outside this structure, has been reserved for, inter alia, consultations of suspect cases of Covid-19.
The project, worth 45 million dirhams, was launched on the initiative of the local authorities of the Casablanca-Settat region, in partnership with the regional Council, the communal and prefectural Councils of Casablanca, and in coordination with the regional directorate of health.
