According to a statement by the national police (DGSN), the 50-year-old suspect, a repeat offender in drug trafficking and violent crimes, was arrested following a complaint filed by the Moroccan Confederation of Professional Artistic and Cultural Organizations after he published on his Youtube channel and on his personal Facebook account a defamatory video against artists and professionals of cultural activities.

 The suspect was placed in police custody to complete the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office at a time when computer monitoring and surveillance operations, carried out by the security services, are underway in order to combat the publication of violent content that incites criminal acts, the same source concluded.
