In a message sent to the speaker of the House of Advisors (Upper House), FOPREL permanent secretariat underscored that this initiative will be a global benchmark, which will significantly contribute to ensuring the means to stop the spread of Covid-19 and mitigate the social and economic repercussions of the pandemic, while commending the solidarity spirit displayed by the Kingdom of Morocco.
It also commended the important role played by the Moroccan upper house, with regards to the measures taken by the Kingdom to face this health crisis and mitigate its repercussions, particularly in terms of the adoption of legislative texts and the evaluation of public policies, in coordination with the other key institutions and departments.
Stressing that a short, medium and long term regional action plan for future epidemiological crises is being developed, FOPREL permanent secretariat called on the speaker of the upper house, in his capacity as a member of the forum, to be a partner in this project, reiterating its solidarity and its readiness to provide support for the people and the government of the Kingdom of Morocco in all their regional or international initiatives.
