The two patients "are currently under medical supervision at the military hospital of Dakhla where they are treated according to the health standards in force. Their condition is stable and does not raise any concern", underlined a statement of the body.

Laboratory tests undergone by 7 contact people, in order to limit the spread of the virus, were negative, assured the source, adding that this is also the case for two suspected cases who were admitted Thursday to the Covid-19 Diagnostic Center at the Hassan II regional hospital in Dakhla.

The regional health directorate reassured the public opinion on the epidemiological situation in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, while urging citizens to fully adhere to the preventive measures decreed by the authorities and not to give credit to fake news.
