The number of deaths due to the coronavirus is 39, while that of cured people stands at 29, said the ministry on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".

 In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results amounts to 2,726, according to the same source.

 The 676 positive cases were recorded in the regions of Casa-Settat (188), Marrakech Safi (126), Rabat Salé Kenitra (114), Fez-Meknes (110), Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (45), the Eastern region (29), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (23), Souss-Massa (18), Daraa-tafilalet (20), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specified the website.

The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, and to show responsibility and patriotism.
