The police officer who committed the offense had failed to fulfill his professional obligations which consist in ensuring the implementation of health emergency measures, said a release from National Police (DGSN).
He had transported two foreign Arab nationals in a service vehicle to a hotel and then to a hospital when they were asked to present a medical certificate, and this while they were breaking the health containment measures imposed by the Moroccan authorities to stop the spread of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus, the source added.
The temporary suspension against the police officer who committed the offense was decided to ensure the implementation of health emergency measures in a correct and firm manner, in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
