Following the decision of the Scientific and Technical Committee regarding the use of this medicine to treat patients infected by the novel coronavirus, the Ministry of Health has ensured the safe implementation of this decision, Meddah said in a statement broadcast by the Moroccan News Agency on its M24 TV Channel and RIM RADIO.
Based on the recommendations of the Committee, the Ministry of Health has published Circular No. 22, dated March 23, intended for all health professionals, concerning the conditions and the use of this treatment in a way that secures the "patriotic" and rational management of the stock of this medicine in Morocco, she added.
All Moroccans suffering from chronic diseases that require chloroquine drugs can get them for free and exceptionally at the regional and provincial pharmacies closest to their homes and which are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, after presentation of a medical file or prescription, Meddah pointed out.
