A total of 18 doctors and nurses, who are fighting against the novel coronavirus, are using 25 rooms of the hotel, Le Rio Director, Hamid Lachiri, told MAP, adding that the hotel offers comprehensive services to the medical staff as part of national solidarity efforts to stop the spread of the virus.
This action, launched on the initiative of the hotel's owner, enables the medical staff to self-isolate away from vulnerable members of their households in order to stop the coronavirus spread, he said.
He also urged all the other hotels in the city to provide help to medical workers who are fighting the virus.
The hotel, which includes 77 tourist apartments, has made available to medical staff bathrooms and kitchens separate from the rest of the customers, and this in accordance with self-isolation rules and in order to avoid the spread of the virus, he said, noting that the accommodation conditions are similar to those 'at home" so as to ensure psychological comfort to medical workers.
