Upon her arrival at the "Bad Al Makina" Square, Her Royal Highness reviewed a detachment of the auxiliary forces that paid the honours and was greeted mainly by Culture minister Mohamed Laaraj, Minister Delegate for the Interior Noureddine Boutayeb, wali of the Fez-Meknes region, governor of the prefecture of Fez, Said Zniber, president of the Fez-Meknes region's council, Mhand Laenser, and president of the council of the city of Fez, Idriss Azami El Idrissi.
HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa was also greeted by chairman of the "Spirit of Fez" Foundation, Abderrafi Zouiten, and members of the organizing committee of the 25th Fez Festival of World Sacred Music.
Afterwards, Her Royal Highness headed for the VIP stand where she watched the opening concert called "Fez, remembering the future", which reflects the sacred and spiritual aspects of the old Medina of Fez and highlights Morocco's authentic traditions as well as its interaction with several countries in the world.
Designed by artistic director Alain Weber, this creation brought together artists from Morocco and several other countries who guided the audience into one of the city's narrow alleys, whose memory can be the key to a prosperous future.
At the end of the event, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa was greeted by the members of this artistic creation.
