Upon disembarking at Mohammed V international airport, the Hashemite Sovereign was greeted by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid.

After reviewing a detachment of the light security Brigade, HM King Abdullah II was greeted by Interior minister Abdelouafi Laftit and Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation minister Nasser Bourita.

He was also welcomed by the wali of the Casablanca-Settat region, governor of the Casablanca prefecture, the president of the Council of the Casablanca-Settat region, the ambassador of Morocco to Jordan, the ambassador of Jordan in Rabat, as well as by several civil and military figures.

At the entrance to the airport's VIP lounge, HM King Abdullah II was offered the traditional welcome of milk and dates.

After a brief break, the official procession headed for the Hashemite Sovereign's place of residence in the economic capital.

This visit illustrates the depth of the relations of fraternity, cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly peoples, thanks to the common willingness of the two Sovereigns.
