Upon his arrival at the Club, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid reviewed a section of the Auxiliary Forces that made the honors. Then, His Royal Highness was notably greeted by minister of Youth and Sports, Rachid Talbi Alami, secretary of State for Rural Development and Water and Forestry, president of the Ifrane provincial council, Hammou Ouhelli and Wali of the Fès-Meknès region, governor of the Fès prefecture, Essaid Zniber.
After cutting the inaugural ribbon, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid visited the "Michlifen Golf and Country Club", which includes, inter alia, a pro shop, a library and a restaurant.
Afterwards, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid visited the other components of the Club, including the golf academy (putting, fitting and coaching studios), the practice area, the putting green training course and the signature hole at the start n°9.
Located at an altitude of 1,650 meters, between mountains and forests of cedars and holm oaks, the “Michlifen Golf and Country Club” is set in a preserved natural environment in the heart of the Middle Atlas, a region known for its charming alpine style architecture.
The 18-hole course was designed by international champion Jack Nicklaus, who has created prestigious golf courses around the world. A first in North Africa.
The total area of the Resort (100 ha) includes 77 ha of golf.
