The event, held in honour of guests of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, was attended by head of government Saâd Eddine El Othmani, government members and Moroccan and foreign figures.

HRH Princess Lalla Malika chaired on Wednesday at the Ahmed Ben Zayed Al Nahyane institution in Ain Atiq (Skhirat-Temara prefecture), the ceremony to launch the Moroccan Red Crescent National Week, on the occasion of the celebration of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.

As part of this celebration, a medical-social campaign for the benefit of poor populations in the Skhirat-Temara prefecture, was launched at Ahmed Ben Zayed Al Nahyane institution at the initiative of the Central Committee of the Moroccan Red Crescent under the theme "the power of humanity at the service of vulnerable populations", in collaboration with several ministerial departments and civil society associations.

The CMR is affiliated with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies which is a worldwide humanitarian aid organization that reaches millions of people each year through its 190-member National Societies.
