In this message, HM the King expressed his congratulations to the new Istiqlal Party leader for the confidence placed in him by the members of the party’s national council "in recognition of your commitment to defend the party’s principles and values and your competence in the various governmental and national responsibilities that you assumed, in addition to your experience at the party and your human qualities.”

The Sovereign also expressed his sincere wishes of success to the new party’s leader in improving the party’s performance and strengthening its historical position within the framework of a pluralistic political landscape with the aim of continuing to contribute, alongside the other political parties, in providing guidance to citizens and consolidating the credibility of political practices.
