Organized by the National Museum Foundation (FNM), in collaboration with the Musée National Picasso-Paris, this exhibition includes over a hundred works (paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, drawings and prints), taken from collections of the Musée National Picasso-Paris.
On this occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Salma visited the exhibition and took a souvenir photo.
A catalog on Picasso was handed to Her Royal Highness by co-curator of the exhibition, Androula Michael, and curator of the FNM, Mouna Mekouar.
A commemorative stamp of the exhibition was also given to HRH Princess Lalla Salma by FNM assistant curator, Hind El Ayoubi, and FNM program manager, Fatima Zahra Lakrissa.
With a chrono-thematic physiognomy, this exhibition revives all the creative domains of Pablo Picasso, his entourage and his life in general.
Upon her arrival at the Museum, HRH Princess Lalla Salma reviewed a detachment of the Auxiliary Forces and was greeted by the secretary-general of the Ministry of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicrafts and Digital Economy, the secretary-general of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the acting Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of Salé, the chairman of the Rabat Prefecture Council, first vice-president of Rabat's city council and FNM president.
Her Royal Highness was also greeted by director-general of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage of Spain, Luis Lafuente, director-general of Cultural Relations at the Spanish Foreign Ministry, Roberto Valera, president of the ONUART Foundation, Miguel Angel Moratinos, president of the Arab World Institute, Jack Lang, artist Charles Aznavour, president of the Musée national Picasso-Paris, Laurent Le Bon, creator Paloma Picasso Thévenet, president of the board of Maroc Telecom, Abdeslam Ahizoune, director-general of the French Institute in Morocco, Jean Marc Berthon, Philippe Madisson of the Majorelle Garden Foundation, chairman of the BMCI Management Board, Laurent Dupuch, BMCI chief executive officer, Rachid Marrakchi, members of the National Museum Foundation as well as other Moroccan and foreign personalities.
