The presence of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid in these festivities mirrors the solidity of the historical and fraternal ties between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, as well as between the leaders of both countries, HM King Mohammed VI and HH Cheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane.
The ceremony was marked by cultural and artistic performances reflecting a part of the history and heritage of the UAE, as well as by parades of the various Emirati Armed Forces.
The military parade, organized on this occasion, was marked by the participation of a squadron of F16 fighter jets of the Royal Air Forces (FAR) operating in the United Arab Emirates as part of the international coalition against terrorism.
This participation took place on the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), and in response to an invitation from the authorities of the brotherly country, the United Arab Emirates.
It is worth to mention that a mission of the First Parachutist Infantry Brigade takes part in the festivities through its participation in Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2016, which kicked off today in the region of Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi.
