Upon his arrival, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was greeted by Inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the southern zone, General de Corps d'Armée Bouchaib Arroub, before reviewing a detachment of the Headquarters who paid the honors.

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was also greeted by Head of the government Abdelilah Benkirane, Minister Delegate in charge of the Administration of National Defense, Abdelatif Loudiyi and Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Lieutenant General Housni Benslimane.

The luncheon was attended mainly by HM the king’s advisors, members of the government and high-ranking officers of FAR's general staff.

Ceremonies were held to celebrate FAR’s 60th anniversary by different garrisons and units of the Royal Armed Forces. During these ceremonies, the Order of the Day addressed by HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of general Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, to officers, non-commissioned officers and privates was read out.
