The reception, which is held in honor of the guests of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, was attended by the Head of government, Abdelilah Benkirane, several government members, as well as by a number of Moroccan and foreign figures.

    HRH Princess Lalla Malika chaired, Wednesday in the Ahmed Ben Zaid Al Nahayane institution in Ain Atiq (Rabat suburbs), the ceremonies celebrating the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, and launched the national week of the Moroccan Red Crescent.

   CRM's National Week launching ceremony was marked by the organization of a medico-social campaign for vulnerable populations in the Skhirat-Temara prefecture, under the theme "Acting together and for all," which consists of general and specialized medical consultations in diabetes, oncology and ophthalmology, as well as analysis and visual impairment testing operations.

   Organized in partnership with local authorities and Ministries of Health and Interior, the campaign is led by more than 100 medical, technical and administrative staff and will benefit 6,500 people.
