On this occasion, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid toured the fair and visited several stands, notably the stand of the United Arab Emirates, guest country of this edition, which features publications edited specially for this event.
His Royal Highness also visited the stands of Sochepress, Dar Attakafa, the publishing house La Croisée Des Chemins, Librairie des Ecoles group, the Ministry of Culture, Algerian publishers, the French Institute, Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela), the Cervantes Institute, the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM), the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the National Human Rights Council, Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian Ministry of Culture.
Upon his arrival at the Office of Fairs and Expositions of Casablanca, which hosts this event, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid reviewed a detachment of the Auxiliary Forces who made the honors before being greeted by Culture Minister Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Abbou, Palestinian Culture Minister Ihab Bseiso and Charge d'Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Morocco Said Maher Al-Ketbi.
His Royal Highness was also greeted by several representatives of local authorities.
Organized by the Culture Ministry, the 22nd International Book Fair of Casablanca brings together 45 countries and over 650 participants from the worlds of publishing, press, broadcasting, distribution, libraries, printing, graphic arts, advertising, desktop publishing and multimedia.
