Upon her arrival at the main hall of IGW, Her Royal Highness was welcomed by German Minister of Food and Agriculture Christian Schmidt and Director General of Messe Berlin, Christian Goke, as well as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Aziz Akhannouch.
On this occasion, Her Royal Highness visited the various stalls of the Moroccan pavilion where the Kingdom's local products are exhibited.
The inauguration of the Moroccan pavilion was also attended by numerous Moroccan and German prominent figures, including Berlin Mayor Michael Muller, Morocco's Ambassador in Germany Omar Zniber, and President of the German Farmers’ Association (DBV), Joachim Ruckvied.
Some Moroccan MPs and prominent figures in business, including CEO of Crédit agricole du Maroc Tariq Sijilmassi, also attended the inauguration ceremony of the Moroccan pavilion, which is located in Hall 18 at the heart of the prestigious Berlin exhibition center.
The Moroccan pavilion is divided into four main areas, which reflect the plurality of Moroccan agricultural offer and the diversity of its landscape with coasts, forests, mountains and the desert.
Moroccan producers are presenting varied local products from hand-pressed argan oil to organic products such as henna, saffron and rose water. All these items reflect the kingdom’s rich and varied agriculture and the wealth of its experience acquired over the centuries.
The International Green Week is the world's biggest fair for food, agricultural and horticultural industries. Thousands of producers from all over the world come to IGW to discover market food and luxury items and reinforce their brand image.
