Upon her arrival at the National Library, HRH Princess Lalla Salma reviewed a detachment of the auxiliary forces who made the honors, before being greeted by Culture Minister, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Wali of the Rabat-Sale-Zemmour-Zaïr Region, Abdelouafi Laftit, president of the Rabat council, Abdelkebir Berkia, president of the municipal council of Rabat, Fathallah Oualalou, President of the "Jardin Majorelle" Foundation, Pierre Berge, vice-president of the Foundation, Madison Cox, Secretary General of the Foundation, Quitto Fierro, the curator of the Berber Museum of Jardin Majorelle, Bjorn Dahlstrom, and Director of the National Library, Driss Khrouz.
On this occasion, during which images of Moroccan Berber women were screened, HRH Princess Lalla Salma cut the ribbon and visited the various exhibition spaces, which include the finest Berber ornaments and weavings representing several regions of the Kingdom (Middle Atlas, Eastern South, Souss, Anti-Atlas, pre-Sahara, Siroua and High Atlas).
The "Berber women of Morocco" exhibition is organized under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI at the initiative of the "Jardin Majorelle" Foundation and the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation.
