After visiting medical units set up on this occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Malika handed eyeglasses to pupils of the prefecture, clothes to residents of the Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan establishment as well as hygiene products for the said institution.
The ceremony to launch the CRM National Week was marked by the organization of a medical and social campaign at the same establishment, offering medical checkups on ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, pediatrics and gynecology, in addition to screening visual impairments and conducting child circumcision operations.
Through this awareness-raising, screening and treatment campaign, the CRM seeks to reinforce its prevention and treatment actions for the underprivileged, thus implementing its community-based approach by bringing together social and medical services to meet the needs of the establishment's residents.
Held in collaboration with local authorities and the ministries of health and the interior, this event, involving over 200 people as medical, technical and administrative staff, will benefit over 4,000 individuals.
