On this occasion, Her Royal Highness unveiled the commemorative plaque of the "Tobacco-Free Business" final label to Maroc Telecom which has received the "Tobacco-Free Business" Golden label of the foundation for five consecutive years.
Since the launch of the "Tobacco-Free Business" program of the Lalla Salma Foundation, Maroc Telecom is the first company to obtain the final label for the fight against smoking in the workplace.
After that, HRH Princess Lalla Salma paid a visit to the museum of Maroc Telecom.
Her Royal Highness attended the screening of a film that showcased the efforts of Maroc Telecom as part of this program and its main achievements since the program creation in 2007.
On the same occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Salma chaired the 2014 label-giving ceremony to the participating companies.
The "Tobacco-Free Business" Golden label was awarded, in addition to Maroc Telecom, to 7 companies, namely "BMCE BANK" for the fourth consecutive time, "Banque Populaire" for the fourth consecutive time, "SAHAM Assurance" for the third consecutive time, "SHEM'S Publicité" for the third consecutive time, ONCF for the second time, " Morocco Mall", for the second consecutive time, and "Colorado" for the first time.
The "Tobacco-Free Business" of the Lalla Salma Foundation currently covers 49 private companies, three offices and three government institutions. It aims to support and help business partners to set up services and practices for the prevention and the fight against smoking.
