HM the King congratulates Bokova on re-election as UNESCO Director General

Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Irina Bokova on her re-election as Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

   HM the King stresses that Bokova's re-election is a deserved reward of her competence and a recognition of her sustained efforts to reinforce the UNESCO action and capacity to carry out cultural objectives and development projects.

     The Sovereign also reaffirms the importance that Morocco grants to supporting the UNESCO programs and reiterates determination to fulfill the UN body's lofty goals of laying bridges of dialog between various civilizations and cultures.

     The royal message also extends to the first woman to have been elected head of the Organization HM the King's warmest congratulations and best wishes of success.
