She said all actions of culture or faith, however small they may be, have a positive effect on human health at the physical and psychological levels. Noting that despite the progress achieved in modern medicine, research has not been able to find effective remedies for many illnesses. Therefore, she added, many countries have begun to pay more attention to preventive medicine to overcome a number of diseases and epidemics, especially, as many of these diseases are linked to the way life, and result from unhealthy behaviors, both individually and collectively.
Science has also managed to identify the causes and means of spread of these diseases, so it is possible to prevent them by correcting unhealthy wrong behaviors. She explained the impact of faith on diseases from a scientific point of view, stating that scientific research raises this issue on the individual and collective levels.
At the level of individuals, she argued that several studies have shown that practicing persons are less anxious and feel more social and community support.
