The new facility, meant to develop young people's competences, promote their socio-vocational integration and create income-generating activities, will contribute through training and supervision to fostering action by targeted populations in order to make them participate actively in the local development dynamic.
The complex, worth 10 million dirhams, meets the needs of inhabitants and associations in the Errahma II neighborhood as it offers trainings in income-generating trades, in addition to cultural, sports and community activities.
Built over a surface area of 2,660 square meters, the complex includes several workshops (computer and applied computer graphics, network and maintenance of computer material, tapestry-making), a room for interviews and training on security jobs, a communication and foreign languages room, a room for remedial courses and pedagogical orientation, a multi-purpose room, and a multimedia library.
It also comprises areas for women and children as well as workshops for dress designing and baking, rooms for receptionists and teachers' training, an associations' room and a playground for kids.
The new facility has also sports grounds (mini-football and basketball) as well as two shops.
On this occasion, the sovereign handed 10 local associations sports equipment donated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
