The sovereign said he learnt with great joy and deep delight the news of the birth of a grandson to HRH Prince Charles, and son of their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, that brought to the Royal family joy and happiness.

     HM the King also extends to the Crown Prince of the United Kingdom, to HRH Prince William and to HRH the duchess of Cambridge his warmest congratulations and best wishes of health and happiness.
