Upon his departure at the Rabat-Salé airport, the Spanish sovereign was seen off by HM King Mohammed VI who was accompanied by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid.
The Spanish sovereign was also seen off by the head of the government, speakers of both houses of parliament, the ministers of Interior, of Foreign affairs, of Equipment, Transport and Industry, and of Trade and New Technologies.
The Spanish Sovereign was also greeted by the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, the Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Spokesperson for the Royal Palace and historian of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Director General of the National Police, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer region, members of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, and other officials.
The Spanish Sovereign was also greeted by members of the honorary committee which includes the Minister of Economy and Finance, and the Ambassador of Morocco in Madrid.
During his official visit to Morocco, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I was invited on Monday by HM King Mohammed VI to a family Iftar. On Tuesday, the Spanish Sovereign held talks with His Majesty the King at the Royal Palace in Rabat, before the two Sovereigns chaired the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Spanish Confederation of Entrepreneurial Organizations (CEOE) and the General Confederation of Moroccan businesses (CGEM).
His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his guest inaugurated on the same day the exhibition "25 years of Moroccan-Spanish archaeological cooperation: From Jbala to Draa between prehistory and the Modern Age".
HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and HH Moulay Ismail, offered on Tuesday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, an official Iftar in honor of the Spanish sovereign.
The Spanish Sovereign received on Wednesday, the Head of Government, the Speakers of the two Houses of parliament, the presidents of universities in Morocco and Spain, and representatives of the Spanish community living in Morocco.
On Thursday, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I was given the keys to the city of Rabat before accompanying His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the inauguration of youth employment center in the municipality of Bouknadel.
