Built as part of the renovation program of Sidi Abdelouahab square, the new mosque, which spans on an area of 2,948 sq meters, includes two prayer rooms for men and for women, housing units for the Imam and the Muezzin, and ablution rooms.
Accommodating 1,600 people, "Al Fadila" mosque was designed according to authentic Moroccan architectural standards thanks to various generous donations (15million dirhams).
The inauguration by the Sovereign of this religious building reflects the special attention paid by HM the King to Religious Affairs, and his constant determination to ensure mosques combine practicality and aesthetics for the community of believers that can practice their religion in good conditions.
