In the message, His Majesty the King expressed to Mr. Akil, and through him to the daughters of the deceased, and all his relatives and friends, his deep and sincere condolences, praying God to grant them patience and consolation.

   The Sovereign said he shared the pain of the family members of the deceased after the sad loss, stressing his human qualities as a talented artist who was popular among the lovers of rai music, both in his country Algeria and in Morocco, his second country.

   HM the King prayed the Almighty to embrace the deceased in His holy mercy and welcome him in His vast paradise.

   King Mohammed VI sent another letter of sympathy to the widow of Cheb Akil, in which he expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassions.
