HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan followed, from the grandstand, the two international races, namely HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix and HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Grand Prix.
The prestigious 1.2 million dirham HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix, involving Arabian male horses and purebred mares of four years and over, took place over a distance of 2,100 meters. It was won by the horse Ghadanfar Al Khalidiah Al Thani (Saudi Arabia), ridden by Roberto Perez.
The horse Tamar Thabeth, ridden by Thierry Thulliez, came in second, while Djarnizam Maamora horse, ridden by Johane Victoire, finished third.
As to the 800,000 dirham HRH Prince Moulay El Hassan Grand Prix, ran over 1,900 metres, it is reserved for purebred Arabian male horses and mares of four years and over. The first place went to Udallan horse, ridden by Abdellah El Kandoussi. The horse Sharid Al Khalidiah (Saudi Arabia), ridden by Alodhaib Abdullah finshed secondm followed by the horse Naratteur Al Maury, ridden by Mhamed El Jaouhiry.
The 700,000 dirham HRH Prince Moulay Rachid International Race, on 1,750 metres, was won by the horse Isfahan (United Arab Emirates), ridden by Abdelkader El Kandoussi.
After the ceremony, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan awarded trophies to the owners of the winning horses.
