HM the King extended to Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba, and through him to his government and to the people of Gabon, his sincere thanks and his gratitude for the "warm welcome and generous hospitality for me and for the members of the delegation accompanying me throughout our stay."
"I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to your sustained action to strengthen cooperation and solidarity ties between our two brotherly countries. I keep in mind that you chose Morocco, your second country, as the destination of your first official visit abroad after your accession to the presidency of the Republic," the message said.
"I am convinced that with your experience, your vision and your commitment, you are keen to give a strong impetus to these relations for the benefit of both our countries and that you will also contribute to strengthening the bonds of African brotherhood and fulfilling the aspirations of our peoples for more progress, prosperity, security and stability," HM the King added.
The Sovereign welcomed the cordial and fruitful discussions "we had, in perfect convergence of our views," both in terms of willingness to raise bilateral relations to the level of "an exemplary partnership in all areas," and with regard to regional and international issues of common interest.
