The first agreement, dealing with international land transport of goods and persons, was signed by Morocco’s minister of equipment and transport, Aziz Rebbah, and Senegalese minister of infrastructure and transports, Thierno Alassane Sall.
The second agreement, a protocol agreement on cooperation in mining, hydrocarbons, electricity and renewable energies, was signed by energy, mining, water and environment minister, Fouad Douiri and Senegal’s minister of energy and mining, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye.
The two agreements are part of the strategic, multiform and active partnership binding the two African countries and showcases the two heads of state will to elevate bilateral cooperation to a level meeting the expectations of the two peoples.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the Sovereign’s advisors, Zoulikha Nasri and Fouad Ali El Himma, ministers of foreign affairs and cooperation, Saad Dine El Otmani, of Habous (Islamic endowments) and Islamic affairs, Ahmed Taoufiq, of health, Houcine El Ouardi, and Morocco’s ambassador in Senegal, Taleb Berrada.
On the Senegalese side, the prime minister, the State-minister and head of the President’s office, the foreign minister, the minister-diplomatic advisor of the president and the health minister were present at the ceremony.
