Through this royal gesture with a strong social impact, infrastructure dedicated to patients suffering from kidney failure is being reinforced and a new token of renewed solicitude is hence given to citizens.
The new structure, which cost over 6.4 million DH, is located in the provincial hospital of Benslimane. It will contribute to relieve the congestion at the nephrology service in the Ibn Rochd university hospital in Casablanca and improve health services extended to patients suffering from kidney failure.
The project is the fruit of partnership between the national initiative for human development (INDH), the health ministry and Al Bouhaira association for social solidarity.
It is equipped with modern machinery and tools and can receive up to 48 patients daily. The center comprises eight dialysis generators, a water-treatment room, a medical examination room, in addition to facilities where patients can be received and rest.
The center is part of the national plan for the treatment of chronic diseases that seeks to reinforce health infrastructure, stimulate kidney transplant and prevent chronic diseases.
This new structure is part of the INDH program to fight precariousness. It strengthens various initiatives and moves taken by HM the King (INDH and medical assistance regime) that are meant to democratize health care and create for citizens conditions of dignified and prosperous life.
On this occasion, the Sovereign symbolically handed keys of nine ambulances to be used by the new hemodialysis center and eight communes of the province of Benslimane.
