The new centre, which is intended to strengthen basic health infrastructure in the province of Nouaceur, will contribute to improving health services available to people with kidney failure and enable poor people to access quality health care services.
The 5.5 million dirham centre, fitted with modern equipment, can accommodate up to 48 patients per day. It includes eight dialysis generators, a water treatment room, another for consultation, and patient reception and relax facilities.
The centre is part of the national plan for chronic disease management, which aims to reinforce health facilities's capacities in this area, encourage kidney transplants and prevent such diseases.
