Intended to strengthen basic health infrastructure in the province of Rhamna, the new centre will contribute to improving health services available to people with kidney failure, and will enable them to avoid moving to other cities to receive the necessary care.

      The 4.1 million dirham centre, which has advanced equipment and facilities, can accommodate up to 40 patients per day. It has eight dialysis generators, a water treatment room, and another for consultation, in addition to patient reception facilities.

   The centre aims to bring health services closer to citizens, improve the living conditions of people with kidney failure and strengthen the provision of health.

   It is part of the plan to promote the health sector in the Rhmna province.

   The plan, which involves an investment of approximately 54.2 million dirhams, also provides for developing and expanding the provincial hospital and building five health centres and three delivery wards.

   On this occasion, HM the King launched the "SOS Rhamna" service and handed keys of five equipped ambulances to the managing association.

    The "SOS Rhamna" will provide around-the-clock medical transport services across the territory of the province.

    The service has a total of 15 ambulances, acquired as part of a partnership between a number of partners for a 20.9 million dirhams.
