HM the King inaugurated an urban garden at the Attakadoum neighborhood in Benguerir and the pedagogic hotel of the High Institute for Applied Technologies (ISTA), under the Office for vocational training and labor promotion in the Mohammed VI green city.  

 These two projects will back the different initiatives launched by the sovereign in the province to reinforce its economic and human potentialities.

 Given its ecological and urban dimension, the new garden is public place for recreation, relaxation and entertainment. An integral part of the Benguerir's urban upgrading program, the implementation of this project is part of efforts made to preserve the environment, ensure sustainable development, enhance urban landscape and improve the city's attractiveness.

 The urban upgrading program of Benguerir, the county town of Rhamna province, includes also giving a facelift to 240 buildings and carrying out thirty community-based social facilities totaling 99 million dirhams and aimed at promoting social, cultural and sports activities, fighting against illiteracy, ameliorating women's social and economic integration and training young people to facilitate their integration in the economic fabric.
 
 Built in the Mohammed VI green city, the ISTA's pedagogic hotel is meant to provide training for competent human resources in hotel management and catering to boost the region's tourism. The new facility will accommodate up to 120 interns (60 girls and 60 boys) and will give the chance to candidates living in remote areas, mainly girls, to benefit from training. 

 Worth about 20 million dirhams, this pedagogic hotel will train 256 young people yearly in hotel management and catering.
