The UAE are the fourth leg of HM the King's tour which took him to the KSA, Jordan and Qatar, and which also includes Kuwait.
Upon their arrival at the Doha international airport, HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani reviewed a detachment of the honor guard.
HM the King was greeted, afterwards, by HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Crown Prince of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, head of the Emir's cabinet, Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Jawan Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Foreign Minister Khaled El Atya, Sheikh Kalid Bin Khalifa Al Thani, director of the Crown prince's cabinet and Qatari ambassador to Morocco.
The sovereign was also greeted by Morocco's ambassador to Qatar El Mekki Gawan and members of the Moroccan embassy.
During this visit, HM the King held talks with Emir of the State of Qatar, HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, who offered an official welcome ceremony in honor of the sovereign.
The delegations of the two countries held a large meeting on prospects of bilateral cooperation, in the light of the decision by the Gulf Cooperation Council to set up a strategic partnership with Morocco.
HM the King is accompanied by a delegation including the sovereign's advisors, Omar Azzimane, Zoulikha Nasri, Fouad Ali Al Himma and Yasser Znagui, as well as Foreign Minister Saad El Dine Otmani, Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Equipment and Transport Aziz Rebbah, Minister of Health Houcine El Ouardi, Minister of Energy Fouad Douiri.
