HM the King was greeted, at the Marka military airport, by HH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, HH Prince Talal Bin Muhammad and HH Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad, special advisor to King Abdullah II for religious and cultural affairs, personal emissary of His Majesty, head of the honor delegation.
The sovereign was also greeted by the head of the Hashemite royal cabinet Ryad Abu Karki, director of His Majesty's Office Imad Fakhoury, Jordan's ambassador in Rabat Ali El Kaid, the Secretary of the Greater Amman, the Mayor of the Greater Amman and several military figures.
HM the King was also greeted by Morocco's ambassador in Amman Lahcen Abdelkhalek and members of the Moroccan diplomatic mission in Jordan.
Afterwards, the royal procession headed for the Al-Nadwa palace in Amman, the residence of the sovereign.
HM the King will hold, on Thursday, talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II on cooperation ties between the two countries and means to further foster them in many areas.
The two sovereigns will also examine the latest developments in the Middle-East, mainly the Syrian crisis and efforts seeking to find a just, comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue and the situation of Al Quds Asharif.
HM the King is accompanied by an important delegation composed mainly of HM the King's advisors Omar Azzimane, Zoulikha Nasri, Fouad Ali El Himma and Yassir Znagui.
The delegation includes also Foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani, Economy Minister Nizar Baraka, Islamic Affairs Minister Ahmed Toufiq, Agriculture Minister Aziz Akhannouch, Equipment and Transport Minister Aziz Rebbah, Health Minister Houcine El Ouardi, Energy Minister Fouad Douiri and General Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, General Abdelaziz Bennani.
