The sovereign launched the construction works of a road linking the rural commune of Seddina to Al Onsar hamlet, the project of the road network in the commune, and the construction of community facilities in the same commune.
The 16 million dirham Seddina-Al Onsar road link is part of the second national rural road programme (PNRR II). It will be carried out on seven kilometres, thus enabling to open up six hamlets with about 3,000 inhabitants.
The PNRR II in the province of Tetuan consists of building 214 km of rural roads for a total investment of 640 million dirhams. Under this programme, 75 km of roads have been built for an investment of 236 million dirhams, and 111 km are under construction.
The programme will make it possible to open up an estimated population of over 70,000 inhabitants in 20 rural communes.
The strengthening of Seddina's road network is also based on developing its roads.
The 53 million dirham project , which benefits 16 hamlets, aims to beautify the landscape of the commune, improve access to roads, enhance public spaces, redevelop the area around the road and promote the economic activity.
In addition to these two projects, the 20 million dirham programme for setting up community facilities in Seddina commune consists of building a school, a centre for training by learning, a female training centre, a centre for the youth, a socio-sports complex, a library and a mosque.
On this occasion, HM the King handed three school transport minibuses for local associations.
