The first agreement, signed by Morocco's Foreign minister Taib Fassi Fihri and Gabonese Technical Education minister Léon Nzouba, seeks to shore up bilateral cooperation in the field of vocational training.
Under the agreement, Morocco will assist Gabon in carrying out continuing training plans, boosting the vocational training offer and improving trainers’ skills.
The second agreement is meant to promote bilateral technical cooperation on mining, geology and hydrocarbons.
As for the third accord, it is related to energy and water resources and aims to prompt both countries' public and private institutions to undertake cooperation actions.
The fourth agreement touches on environment and water. It provides mainly for education and raising awareness on environment protection, as well as integrated water management, management and protection of environmentally-sensitive areas and renewable energy, and environment-friendly technologies.
The three agreements were inked by Energy minister Amina Benkhadra and Gabonese Foreign minister Paul Toungui.
The fifth accord, signed by Tourism minister Yassir Zenagui and his Gabonese counterpart Magloire Ngambia, touches on tourism and is part of the reinforcement of friendship bonds.
The ceremony was attended notably by King's Advisor Abdelaziz Meziane Belfkih and Moroccan Industry minister Ahmed Réda Chami.
