In conformity with the Royal instruction, the Dahir aims to modernize the national police, upgrade its human resources and endow it with Staff Regulations that will promote good security governance and take into account the specificities and lofty missions assigned to the DGSN staff, the Minister said.
The Dahir, which was approved by HM the King, mirrors the Royal solicitude towards the national police and his concern to improve their material and professional conditions and promote social assistance services benefiting this category, Cherkaoui added.
In this connection, the Interior Minister extended sincere gratitude to HM the King for his instructions to set up the Mohammed VI Social Services Foundation for the staff of the national police, he said.
