In these messages, the sovereign expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes of health, happiness and long life to the AMU leaders and further progress and prosperity for their peoples.
"This anniversary is very dear to us and to our peoples who aspire to materialize this irreversible strategic choice," HM the King underlined, adding that "the revitalization of the AMU meets our brotherly peoples' expectations of unity, complementarity, development and economic integration."
In this respect, the sovereign reaffirmed his steadfast resolve to continue working together with the Maghreb heads of States to overcome the obstacles hindering the reinvigoration of the AMU, in accordance with the Marrakech Declaration.
The Union's re-launch will help to "fulfill our peoples' aspirations for a better future, based on the attachment to noble and centuries-old ties of sincere brotherhood, shared trust, good neighborliness and understanding, away from schisms and antagonism," the monarch said.
