At the outset of the meeting, the Council will examine four draft decrees, including one setting out the list of exceptional leaves available to magistrates and the list of illnesses that entitle them to medium and long-term sick leave, according to the same source.
The second draft decree lays down the conditions for awarding an allowance to civil servants responsible for supervising and leading continuing and advanced training courses organized for the benefit of executives working for the Ministry of National Education, the press release added.
The third draft decree sets the legal minimum wage for agricultural and non-agricultural activities, while the fourth amends and supplements the draft relating to the application of value-added tax as stipulated in Title III of the General Tax Code, the same source added.
The Council will then examine a convention between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Chad on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income tax, signed in Dakhla on August 14, 2024.
The Council will then examine the convention on social security between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Korea, signed on June 02, 2024, as well as two bills approving the said convention.
The Council will complete its proceedings by considering proposals for appointment to high positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, before holding a special meeting devoted to the examination of certain bills, the press release concluded.
