Speaking at the “Morocco Now” conference held on Thursday as part of the roadshow he is leading in Japan and Korea, Zidane highlighted the assets that position the Kingdom as a privileged destination for investment, stressing Morocco’s “readiness to host and support Korean stakeholders in carrying out their projects.”
The Minister added that Morocco, thanks to the Enlightened Vision of HM King Mohammed VI, has established itself as an economic powerhouse and one of the most competitive industrial platforms in its region, highlighting the Kingdom's various assets, including world-class infrastructure, a young and highly skilled workforce, and exceptional potential in green energy.
The Minister also stressed that economic ties between Morocco and Korea have been marked by a positive momentum in recent years.
In this respect, he noted that Korea is the Kingdom's fifth-largest Asian trading partner. “However, the potential remains considerable,” he said, calling for further efforts to intensify trade between the two countries.
In terms of investment, he said that the opportunities were even more promising, noting that some ten Korean companies had already invested in Morocco over the past five years, notably in the automotive, transport and logistics sectors.
