"I would like to renew my thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his sustained efforts in favor of the Palestinian people," Mustafa told the press, following a meeting with minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly.

The Palestinian Prime Minister welcomed the "tireless" efforts that Morocco is making in favor of the Holy City, through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency.

Mr. Mustafa stressed that his meeting with Mr. Bourita was an opportunity to discuss developments in the Middle East, and the urgency of a ceasefire to put an end to the cycle of violence in the region.
