This meeting, attended by Minister of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli, and Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, Ali Seddiki, took part on the sidelines of Akhannouch’s visit to China to represent HM King Mohammed VI at the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
During this meeting, the Head of Government expressed Morocco’s support to carry out a strategic investment project of SUNRISE group in Morocco, amounting to 4.1 billion dirhams. This project will create 11,000 direct jobs within three years in several regions of the Kingdom, through the launch of industrial projects integrating the whole ecosystem.
The SUNRISE group’s investment will help revitalize the national textile sector, fully integrated into global value chains and will contribute to the government’s strategy of prioritizing job creation.
